A day in the life of a Snail.

Snails are really slow. This is the fact.
We often think of one second as the time it takes for
us to say the word "Mississippi*", but for the snail,
the amount of time it takes to say "Mississippi" would
probably be much longer (if they could talk).

*Doesn't apply if you speak with involuntary disruption.
Eg. Nemo in Finding Nemo when he said, "Anemone".

I moved around like a snail today.

The extraordinarily good weather this morning on top
of a severe lack of sleep made a 'simple' action like
getting out of bed such a challenge; requiring immense
physical & mental effort to accomplish.

At work, I felt like I was in a mammoth-sized freezer.
When it gets cold, I become sluggish. Customers were
sluggish, business was slow. Not to mention Time, too.
It felt like 22 hours at work instead of the usual 11 hours.

So there we go. It wasn't really a fantastic day. (Especially if
you're in the retail service line.) But Nic's visit & Starbucks
Hot Cocoa Grande soothed me like a baby with a tit.

Plus, I had my share of fun over the weekend - Bowling, Fondue,
Mahjong & White Chicks. I'm not complaining. (:
